Marketing budget ≠ Ad Spends + Creative Agency Costs!
How does it feel like to be in the 4th week of the year?!
Oh, wait! Have you not accepted it yet?! Are you still writing today’s as 23/01/24?!:P
See, I understand… it happens..but I’m here for a reality check today (Sorry :( but I don’t want you to be left behind)
Marketing budget ≠ Ad spends+creative agency costs!
Why am I saying this suddenly?!
I’m coming to that in 112 words. But first,
Raise your hand if you’re already drowning in budgeting spreadsheets…
And asking yourself:
Why does our Q1 budget feel smaller every year?
How will we squeeze another campaign out of this?
Why does everything cost more, but the ROI keeps going down?
Well, let’s face it!
Budgeting isn’t just a numbers game – it’s balancing short-term wins with long-term growth.
And most often than not, it feels like walking on a tightrope because:
Most marketers think, ads & creative agencies are their budget burners.
So, to burst that bubble, we did a little bit of digging (we mean speaking to 26 senior marketing leaders) and here’s what we found out!
Here’s where most marketers' are wasting their budgets!
Not knowing their audience like a best friend
Be honest, do you really really get your audience?
I’m talking about knowing their day-to-day, struggles and even what keeps them up at night. I know it might sound a bit too intrusive, but if you don’t know them well enough, how can you solve their problems the way they need?Being in the wrong room
Sometimes the issue isn’t the strategy; it’s the people executing it. You need the right people in the right room. Misalignment leads to a wasted budget on the wrong fit.Forgetting, Time = Money
As marketers, we juggle multiple tasks. But here’s the thing—multitasking and creativity don’t mix well. Prioritize what matters: Focus > Flow > Creativity > Better Outputs > More Conversions > Higher ROI.Still doing things that AI can handle better & faster
If your team is stuck doing repetitive tasks instead of coming up with fresh ideas, fix that! It’s a game-changer. Automating those tasks can keep you ahead of 93% of marketers in 2025.
Feeling overwhelmed by budget pressures and goals?
Well, brace yourself—2025 will be a rollercoaster!
We’re talking about 20,000 new AI tools, shrinking budgets, and AI impacting 70% of strategies.
But don’t worry—we’ve got your back!
Here are 8 Budgeting Tips to help you increase your conversions in a tight budget in 2025!
Double Down on What Works:
Take a hard look at last year’s campaigns, what brought in the highest ROI? Put your energy and resources into those winners and let the results speak for themselves.Keep a “Test and Learn” Fund:
Allocate 10–15% of your budget for experiments. Whether it’s testing ads or launching micro-campaigns, growth comes from taking smart risks.Remove the Tools You Don’t Use:
Are you paying for tools you haven’t logged into since 2024? Cut the fat and reinvest that cash into strategies that actually drive conversions.Automate Everything You Can:
Repetitive tasks? Let AI handle it. Tools like Fibr AI can automate landing page creation, testing, and optimization. Save your time (and sanity) for strategy.Prioritize High-ROI Channels:
Stop wasting time on “nice-to-have” platforms. Fewer, high-performing channels are better than trying to be everywhere at once.Align Goals Across Teams:
Don’t let your sales, marketing, and product teams work in silos. Budget conversations are smoother (and smarter) when everyone’s thinking in the same direction.Track Everything:
If you’re not tracking it, how can you optimize it? Use data to see what’s working and adjust your budget in real-time.Say No to Shiny Objects:
Not every trend deserves your budget. Before jumping on a new idea or tool, ask, “Does this help us meet our goals, or is it just a distraction?”
And don’t forget:
Know your customer
Create the right team

Food for thought!
I used to think hard work was the key to success. But then I noticed something about my parents' meal subscription business. They made the best dishes, but customers weren’t coming back as often as they expected.
One day, a customer gave this reason while cancelling their subscription, “The food’s great, but I have to put my hands in it.”
That’s when they realized that it wasn’t about making the tastiest dish but about understanding the customer’s needs. Their clients were busy office workers who needed food they could eat at their desks. So, they changed the menu to include only food that could be eaten with a fork or spoon.
The result?
From serving two offices, they started serving 37 in 3 months! 🙌
Lesson?
Sometimes, it’s not about doing more, but about doing the right things better.
