Here’s what Inspired me to create this calendar!
I used to think the best products always win.
But then I recently heard this from one of my college friends, who’s running an online store in Brooklyn.
He sold amazing and cool handmade travel accessories, you know the kind of stuff people love to browse and buy, even if they are unnecessary.
Last year around September end, he noticed an unusual hype about one of his competitors!
He started browsing and saw a post from the competitor celebrating World Traveler’s Day.
Ironically enough, the brand wasn’t even selling anything - they just shared a “Top 5 Packing Hacks for Solo Travelers” post in collaboration with a travel influencer. But the engagement was off the charts!
People were tagging friends, asking questions, and buying travel gear like crazy.
And my friend?
He had the perfect products for this audience, but he never mentioned the occasion.
No post. No email. No campaign. Nothing
So while his competitor got the limelight, he was stuck wondering how to ramp up his conversions.
That’s what made me realize, sometimes, it’s not about making better products. It’s about showing up at the right moments. And that’s what made me
